
James supports all phases of construction, from framing and structural work to finish carpentry, including trim and cabinetry. He also assists with site preparation and organization, helping projects run efficiently and maintaining a well-ordered job site.
A hands-on problem solver, James began his career as a mechanic, where he developed a strong understanding of how systems come together. His interest in building deepened while traveling across the U.S. with his wife, during which he designed and completed a full van build, including cabinetry and storage.
At Feinmann, James values the collaborative environment and culture of mentorship, which support his continued growth in the trade. He is focused on developing his skills in residential remodeling and learning the craft with care and precision.
A native of Wayland, MA, and graduate of George Washington University in DC, he previously spent several years rock climbing throughout the U.S. and Asia and founded a climbing product company.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife, Kiki, and their daughter, River, and playing pickleball.
